I’m Chef Abdul! I’m sure we have already met. and if you’ve made it so far you definitely wanna know more about me. So here we go! A person so full of life that I’ve been accused of infecting people around me and I hope I’ve done the same to you. The love for food has been uniting diverse cultures and numerous societies globally for decades, must I say centuries, embracing people under this wing of love is my dream. Lets, go to the very beginning, my journey kickstarted from the heritage city of Mysore, a South Indian city known for its impeccable food and magnificent culture. It all began with my dear grandmother and mother cooking food in the kitchen, a kitchen filled with love, giggles and not to forget the aroma of a delicious plate of food. They were my first role models to put up not just a good plate of food, but a delicious, love filled and nutritious one.
Creating a bowl of a recipe which is filled to the brim with love, passion and hardwork is the best and evidently the favourite aspect of my job as a chef. This job is definitely one of a kind! where something as repulsive as a bitter gourd can be cooked into a gourmet and delicious dish, waiting to be relished. With a culture this rich in my pocket, I went on to get his Master’s degree in hotel management from France. Furthermore, with my Michelin star and entrepreneurial experience from having founded multiple food outlets, I have time and again left my mark in the industry of hospitality and food.
I began with Indian food to lay the roots to my food journey but went on to specialize in Provencal Cuisine, Turkish Cuisine, Middle Eastern Cuisine, Pan Asian Cuisine and Italian Cuisine. In the hospitality industry I have worked with numerous reputed brands some of which are Hilton, Sheraton and Accor to provide the best of services. With the success of my food chains and ventures I have been awarded titles such as “The Best Indian Chef, The best entrepreneur of the year 2019″ by IHM, “The Best Chef Led Brand” and “Innovative Chef of the Year” for all of which I’m thankful and humbled.
With multiple entrepreneurial endeavors I take keen interest in revolutionizing and spreading the indo-fusion cuisine. Through these numerous business ventures, I have managed to avail thousands of job profiles and employment opportunities for the society as I ardently wish to do my part for the betterment of the society we live in . These industries have soulfully contributed to decades of my career I would like to introduce you to some of my business ventures which are- Tandooriwala – a barbeque restaurant selling delicious indian food cooked over a traditional tandoor, Dosa Hutti- A place that serves this dish, famous and loved irrespective of north, south, east or west, in its authentic form, King Shawarma, Mr.Idli- an evergreen dish which feels like a hug from your mother and Golgappa- most popular street food causing your brain to overflow with flavors. All these establishments are well known and successful in spreading the message of bringing Indian delicacies to the global platform- all to elevate and stimulate the global palate.
I have also established multiple ventures in other industries some of them are-9Pax Restaurant Consultants Pvt Ltd-a food consulting company with 3000 clients globally, Chef Abdul’s Catering Company LLC, 9PAX brand studios and a reputed institute -Chef Abdul’s Institute for Culinary Arts & Science.
In my line of work, the more experience a chef gains the closer they are to perfection. A chef is in continuous pursuit of different flavors always looking to expand their palate and knowledge. With all these endeavors being the beginning of my culinary and entrepreneurial dream, this page is my voice to reach out and magnify the dream.
